Owner
A native of Chadbourn, Densil is a second generation family owner/operator. Upon his graduation from High School, he attended East Carolina University and obtained his degree in Chemistry. Densil has been a licensed funeral director since 1976 and the owner & operator since 1984. Densil is also a member of Chadbourn United Methodist Church, where he currently serves as treasurer and a member of the Chadbourn Lions Club.
Full-time, Funeral Director and Embalmer Trainee
Lance is a native of Chadbourn and has been employed by Worthington Funeral Home since September of 2014 (age 14). He serves as pianist/director of music at Fair Bluff Church of God. He is a 2020 honor graduate of the Mortuary Science Program at Fayetteville Technical Community College, where he was inducted and remained active in the Phi Theta Kappa. Lance is currently standing the state boards.
Full-time, Embalmer
Andy has been employed by Worthington Funeral Home for 25 years and has been licensed to practice embalming for over 40 years. He is a 1979 Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science honor graduate and currently resides in Nichols, SC.
Full-time, Administrative services, Visitation Hostess
Lefell is the wife of Densil Worthington and has been employed by Worthington Funeral Home since 2009. Lefell currently attends Chadbourn United Methodist Church, which she serves in various roles.

Willis joined the Worthington Funeral Home family in 1986 and he served Columbus and surrounding Counties faithfully as a funeral attendant.

Jerry has been employed by Worthington Funeral Home for several years. He is a native of Chadbourn and is an active member of Chadbourn Baptist Church.
