A native of Chadbourn, Densil is a second generation family owner/operator. Upon his graduation from High School, he attended East Carolina University and obtained his degree in Chemistry. Densil has been a licensed funeral director since 1976 and the owner & operator since 1984. Densil is also a member of Chadbourn United Methodist Church, where he currently serves as treasurer and a member of the Chadbourn Lions Club.
Lance is a native of Chadbourn and has been employed by Worthington Funeral Home since September of 2014 (age 14). He is a 2020 honor graduate of the Mortuary Science Program at Fayetteville Technical Community College, where he was inducted and remained active in the Phi Theta Kappa. He is active in New Life Community Church, where he serves as a musician.
Administrative services, Visitation Hostess
Lefell is the wife of Densil Worthington and has been employed by Worthington Funeral Home since 2009. Lefell currently attends Chadbourn United Methodist Church, which she serves in various roles. She is also active in the Chadbourn Lions Club and the Chadbourn Revitalization Group.
Jerry has been employed by Worthington Funeral Home for several years. He began his employment with Worthington Funeral Home at an early age, and upon retiring from the tobacco industry, he returned to the funeral home and now serves as a funeral attendant. He is a native of Chadbourn and is an active member of Chadbourn Baptist Church.
Milton has been serving as a funeral attendant with Worthington Funeral Home since 1974. He is a member of Williamsons Crossroads Baptist Church, of which he serves as Chairman of Deacons.
