It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Luke Hanson, who entered into Heaven on June 21, 2025, following a battle with meningitis; he was 11 years old.
Luke was born in New Hanover County, on August 2, 2013.
A celebration of Luke’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Grace Baptist Church of Wilmington.
A private graveside service was held at Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.
Luke leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents, Eric Christopher Hanson & Emily Edwards Hanson of Wilmington; brother, Noah Hanson; maternal grandparents, Tim & Joy Edwards; paternal grandparents, Richard & Pam Hanson; host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his loving ball-family, whom he loved and adored.
