William Grey Worley, Jr. 73, of the Cherry Grove Community of Cerro Gordo, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Loris Nursing & Rehab Center.

William was born on April 19, 1951, son of the late William Grey Worley, Sr. and Dorothy Lovett Worley. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Worley Nobles and a granddaughter, Caitlin Nicole Worley. 

Celebration of life services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Worthington Funeral Home with Pastor Rusty Davis officiating.

The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday, at the funeral home.

The surviving family, includes his loving wife of 55 years, Daphne Gore Worley; three beloved children, William “Grey” Worley, III of Cerro Gordo, Heather Worley Kinlaw and husband, Timothy, of Evergreen, Nicholas “Nick” Worley of Cerro Gordo; grandchildren, Haley Brooke Worley, Grayce Worley Nealey, Emma Worley, Dalton Kinlaw, Caleb Kinlaw; great-grandchildren, Cason Worley, Cathrine Worley, Easton Worley; brother, Eddie Dean Worley and wife, Lisa, of Evergreen; and a host of loving nieces, nephews,  family and friends.
