Mr. William Martin Nance, Age 86 of Cerro Gordo died Sunday, April 4, 2010 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. He was the husband of the late Allie Evelyn Freeman Nance and the son of the late Arthur Wesley and Elizabeth Campbell Nance. He was also preceded in death by siblings, A.W. Nance, Jr., Edison Nance and Mae N. Osbourne. He is survived by two daughters, Vickie Nance Mills of Cerro Gordo and Mary Ann Nance Loflin of Thomasville and Diane Nance Butler of Trinity; a son, Billy G. Nance of Cerro Gordo; a sister, Thetus Wallace of Cerro Gordo; 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. No service information has been added.
