William Clay Strickland, age 39 of Cerro Gordo died Thursday, August 12, 2010 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. Memorial services 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Dudley and Reverend Jonathan Simmons officiating. He is survived by his fiance, Angelia Moore of Cerro Gordo; daughters, Briana Nicole Strickland of Kernersville and Britany Amber Strickland of Thomasville; sons, Brandon Clay Strickland and William Bryan Strickland both of Thomasville; parents Geneva Marlowe and Mayberry Strickland, Sr. of Cerro Gordo; sisters, Wanda S. Nobles of Chadbourn and Lisa S. Evans of Lexington; brother, Mayberry Strickland, Jr. of Trinity; 5 grandchildren. No service information has been added.
