Willard Iverson Norris

Willard Iverson Norris, age 84 of Whiteville passed on Monday, August 13, 2018 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Lifecare Angel House in Whiteville. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Wallyce Todd officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - until time of the service on Thursday. He was employed at Federal/International Paper at Riegelwood for 45 years until his retirement in 1999. He was the son of the late Mollie Morris Norris and Robbie Iverson Norris and was also preceded in death by two siblings, Edna Norris Phipps and Charles Dupree Norris, Sr. To cherish his memories, he leaves his wife of 14 years, Nancy Jean Jolly Norris of the home; children, Kelli Norris Barnes and her husband, Earl Barnes of Whiteville and Nicole Hollenbaugh of N. Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Garrett Smith, Blake Smith, Cayce Hollenbaugh, Caryn Hollenbough and three other grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.
