Weston Charles Allen

Weston Charles Allen, age 1 of Delco, ran into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday afternoon, March 17, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his family. 

Weston was born on January 17, 2020, in Brunswick County. He was preceded in death by a sibling born in heaven, in July of 2020; maternal grandmother, Beth Bursell; paternal great-grandfather, Charlie Allen and maternal great-grandmother, Lisa Pye Simmons.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at New Life Community Church, in Whiteville, NC, with Pastor Charles Cribb officiating; Interment will be private.

The family will greet friends from 10:00-10:45, prior to the service on Saturday. 

Survivors include his parents, Cody Madison Allen and Lorena Grace Bursell Allen, both of Delco; maternal grandfather, Michael Bursell of Wilmington; paternal grandparents, John & Sheryl Batten Allen, of Delco; great-maternal grandfather, Charles Simmons of Supply; special “Grandma”, Stacey Pye Effrein (Greg) of Austin, TX; paternal aunt, Brittany Allen (Karmin, TJ, Leo), maternal aunt, Alicia Bursell; cousin, Gracelynn Applewhite, and Grady Effrein.
