Wesley Franklin Hayes

Wesley Franklin Hayes, age 73 of Evergreen, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, NC.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Whiteville Church of Christ with Minister Philip Norwood officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00-12:45, prior to the service. 

He was the son of the late Emerson and Callie Irene Lane Hayes.  He was also preceded in death by two children, John Wesley Hayes and Jeffery Hayes and five siblings, Barbara H. McKee, Ronnie Gene Hayes, Judy Hayes, Brenda Hayes and Cathie Hayes.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Marie Angus Hayes of the home; children, Krystal H. Bledsoe (Jason) of Chadbourn, Shayla Dawn Hayes and Cody Allen Hayes both of the home; siblings, Helen H. Nance of Lumberton, Billy Hayes of Whiteville, Joanne H. Shelton of Manchester, TN, Vicky Hines of Whiteville, Jerry Hayes of Whiteville, Deborah Simmons of Evergreen, Sherry Williams of Whiteville; and two grandchildren, Andrew Wells ad Christian Hyatt.
