Walter Ramirez

Walter Ramirez, age 70 of the Union Valley Community in Whiteville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, January 18, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family.

Walter was born on December 29, 1951, in Lima, Peru, to the late Leonidas Romero Ramirez and Primativa Vidal Ramirez. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Leonidas Ramirez.

 A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022, at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. Interment will follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-10:45, prior to the service. 

Walter leaves behind his wife, Jennifer Lynn Powell Ramirez, of the home; three sons, Nathaniel Cory Ramirez, Jacob D. Ramirez, Matthew Ryan Ramirez, all of the home; daughters, Dorothy Lynn Ramirez Eyre of West Point, UT, Jessica Lane Ramirez Franklin of Henrieville, UT, Michelle Lee Ramirez Reber of Bunkerville, NV, Chelsey Kay Ramirez Tichenor of Bunkerville, NV; Son, Alexander Cory Ramirez of Henrieville, UT; Siblings, Miguel Ramirez, Willie Ramirez, Gladys Ramirez, all of Peru.
