Mr. Thurman Hugh White, age 80 of Chadbourn died Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. Final rites will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church, Chadbourn with Reverend Buddy Seay and Reverend William Jackie Godwin Officiating. Interment will follow in McPherson Cemetery, Chadbourn. He was the son of the late Stanley and Blanche Beck White. Mr. White was a veteran. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Adams White of the home; a daughter, Suzan W. Ritchie of Jackson, Mississippi; a sister, Vonnie Rae Guyton of Elizabethtown; three brothers, Bobby White of Chadbourn, Kenneth White of Chadbourn, and Clyde White of Lawrenceville, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church, 2665 Beaverdam Road, Chadbourn, NC 28431. No service information has been added.
