Thomas Linwood Fowler, 88, of Whiteville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Wilmington.

Thomas was born on September 24, 1936, in Green Sea, SC, son of the late, Dalton Fowler and Mary Idell Nealey Fowler. He was also preceded by his wife Shelvie Jean Fowler; siblings, Bobby Fowler, Ruby Hammond, Jerry Fowler, and Laura Faye Tyler. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Worthington Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery in Tabor City; Pastor Jonathan Simmons will officiate.

The family will greet friends from 1:00-1:45, prior to the service on Friday, at the funeral home.

Surviving family includes his children, Frankie Fowler (DeAnn) of Whiteville, Eddie T. Fowler (Robyn) of Chadbourn; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Judy Mundy (Steve), Esther Thompkins, and Floyd Fowler.
