Mrs. Thelma Jean Wiley Jones, age 72 of Whiteville died Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Danny Williams officiating. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Maudie Mae Virginia Barwick Wiley. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Jean Whittington. She is survived by Karen F. Register of Clarendon; sons, James T. Buddy Key of Hallsboro, Deryle Key of Raleigh, Clay Allen Thompson of Columbia, SC, Jeffery Posey of Greenville, SC and Chris Laverne Posey of Hallsboro; sisters, Joyce Carraway of Columbia, SC and Cynthia Steele of Columbia, SC; brothers, Eddie Wiley and Lynn Wiley both of Columbia, SC; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
