Terry Lynn Atkinson, 70, of Evergreen, passed away on March 11, 2025, at the Lower Cape Fear Angel House.

Terry was born on May 10, 1954, the son of the late Carolyn Lucille Bailey Atkinson. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Jamie Dorsey Atkinson; two siblings, Jimmy Brewer and Marion Jean Bailey.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Riverside Cemetery in Dillon, SC with Pastor James Graham officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday evening, at Worthington Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 3769 Old Boardman Road, Evergreen. 

Terry was an avid hunter and fisherman. For 25 years, Terry, along with his wife, was the co-owner and operator of A&A Earthworks, LLC in Brunswick County.

The surviving family includes his wife, Marie W. Atkinson of the home; children, Crystal Smith (Ray) of Ash, Heather Squires (Buck) of Moyock, NC; step-daughter, Denise Willoughby Davis of Evergreen; siblings, Grace Batchelor of Loris, Carl Bailey (Sondra) of Pembroke; special cousin, Linda Lambert Rogers; grandchildren, Noah Smith, Ethan Smith, Kamden Squires, Kaden Squires, Isabella Davis, Philip Davis, Mason Davis; beloved dog, Smokie Gracie.
