Stewart Edward Mills, 53, of Cerro Gordo, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at McLeod Loris Hospital.

Stewart was born on September 7, 1971, the son of the late Eddie R. Mills and Peggy Ann Carter Coley. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Gurganus.

Memorial services will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Worthington Funeral Home with Pastor John McPherson officiating.

Visitation will be from 3:00-3:45 prior to the service on Tuesday. 

The surviving family includes his wife, Cressie Batten Mills of the home; children, Whitney Michelle Batten (Ricky Jones), Joshua Stewart Mills (Natalie Coe); grandchildren, Raylee Mae Mills and Emma Grace Spence; brother, Gregory Mills (Michelle).
