Stanley Perry Hamilton, 68, of Whiteville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the Lower Cape Fear Angel House in Whiteville, NC.

Stan was born on February 22, 1957. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Hamilton and Maragret Rich; brothers, Bobby Hamilton, Gregory Hamilton, and sisters, Scarlet Hamilton and Eloise Packer.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Grace Bible Church in Whiteville, with Pastor Tony Ripley officiating. Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00-2:45 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday, at the church.

Stan leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Clarissa Hamilton; sons, Bobby Hamilton and wife, Amelia of Whiteville, Ray Dixon and wife, Kristy, of Carolina Beach, Jamie Hamilton and wife, Renee of Jefferson, SC; brother, Jimmy Hamilton and wife, Helen, of Rocky Point; grandchildren, Kaya Hamilton, Nash Hamilton, Brandon Dixon and Alyssa Dixon; great-grandson, Noah James Dixon.

Stan loved to paint, collect antiques, and especially loved cooking. He loved to be with friends and family and loved going to the mountains.
