Shirley Lawson Obituary
Shirley Faye Campbell Lawson, 87, of Fair Bluff, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 15, 2024, at the Lower Cape Fear Lifecare in Whiteville, NC.
Shirley was born on May 30, 1936. She was the widow of L.G. Lawson, Jr. and was also preceded in death by her siblings, William R. “Buck” Campbell and Frankie Jean C. Lovette.
A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at the Powell Cemetery in Fair Bluff, with Pastor Willard McPherson and Pastor Ronnie Wilson officiating.
The family will speak to friends following the graveside service.
To cherish her memory, Shirley leaves behind her son, Dr. Brent C. Lawson and wife, Sonya, of Whiteville; grandsons, Dylan Nance Lawson and Brenson Ty Lawson, both of Whiteville; sister, Eva Gayle C. Memory of Myrtle Beach.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Sheila Johnson, Alisha Snowten, and Annie Snowten for the loving care shown to their mother.
