Chadbour - Mrs. Kay Duboise Nealy, age 55 of Chadbourn died Sunday, September 20, 2009 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home with Dr. Braswell officiating. Interment will follow in the Evans Cemetery, Whiteville. She was the daughter of the late Bert and Sarah Alma Simmons Duboise and was preceded in death by a brother Charles Duboise. She was also preceded in death by a son, James Bradley Long; a daughter, Melissa Virginia Long and a step-son, Tommy D. Nealy. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Nealy of the home, a son, Bert Shannon Long of Whiteville; a daughter, Candy Herring of Whiteville; step-sons, Randy Nealy, William Nealy, and Donovan Nealy all of Chadbourn; sisters, Mary Stevens, Kathryn Hinson, and Linnie Braswell all of Whiteville; brothers, Paul Duboise, Orbie Duboise both of Whiteville and Dillon Duboise of Seagrove; 6 grandchildren. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
