Sharon Kay (Smith) Sholes

Sharon Kay Smith Sholes age 65 of Clarendon, went to be with her Lord on Sunday July 17, 2022, at her residence after an extended illness.

Sharon was the daughter of the late Reverend George Calvin Smith and Mary Lou Smith.  She was also preceded in death by a sister, Donna S. Edwards; two stepchildren; Maurice Charles Sholes, II and Stacie Sholes.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Worthington Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Smith Family Cemetery, Clarendon. 

Visitation will be held from 2:00-2:45, prior to the service. 

Sharon is survived by her husband, Maurice Charles Sholes of the home; three children, George Robert Bradley, Ann Marie Parks and Mary Kay McDaniel (Chris) all of Clarendon;  two brothers, Reverend George Jerome Smith (Leona) of Robbins and Reverend Adolph Conrad Felix Smith (Maria) of Winnabow;  a step-daughter, Michelle S. Johnson (Scott) of Four Oaks; a step-daughter-in-law, Phyllis Sholes of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Joseph Bradley, Cherokee Bradley, Mary Abigail Parks, Zachary Dillon Parks, Jason Colton Malpass, Matthew McDaniel, Braydon McDaniel, Adeline McDaniel, Bradley McDaniel; 7 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren.
