Samuel Carl McPherson

Samuel Carl McPherson, age 44 of the Beaverdam Community in Chadbourn, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

Sam was born on February 9, 1977. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Kay Hewett McPherson and his paternal grandfather, Carl McPherson his maternal grandparents, Charlie and Jessie Mae Hewett.

Samuel was a Master Mason and Shriner in the Tabor Masonic Lodge #563.

Funeral services will be rendered at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021, in the Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church, with Pastor Buddy Seay officiating. Interment will follow in the McPherson Cemetery with Masonic Rites.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Fallon Thomason McPherson of the home; six children, Samuel Luke McPherson of Wilson, Grayson Harvey McPherson of Wilson, Connor Lee McPherson of the home, Brylee Kay McPherson of the home, Levi Gaven McPherson of the home, Tucker Jacob McPherson of the home; his father, Jeffrey Dean McPherson (Cynthia) of Chadbourn; siblings, Rebecca Lynn Norris of Whiteville, April Hunter (Chad) of Conway, Audrea Bailey (Brad) of Chadbourn; grandmother, Juanita Nealy McPherson of Chadbourn.
