Samuel Eugene Jordan, Jr.

Samuel "Sammy" Eugene Jordan, Jr. age 81 of Shallotte and formerly of the Western Prong Community passed on Friday, July 22, 2022 at home. 

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Worthington Funeral Home, with Rev. Randy Hunt and Rev. Tim Rausch officiating. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00-10:50, prior to the service. 

He was the son of the late Samuel E. Jordan, Sr. and Louise Barnes Jordan. He was also preceded in death by three siblings, Sarah Jane Custer, Kelly Jordan and Richard "Dickie" Jordan..

Sammy honorably served his country in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by two daughters, Christy J. Logan (Richard, Sr.) of Seymour, TN and Lynn Jordan of  Columbus, IN; a brother, Buster Jordan (Elaine) of Chadbourn; three grandchildren, Richard Logan, Jr., Diana Stieber (Cameron) and Sammy Logan.
