Obituary

Sadie Mae Caison Canady, 78, of Nakina, died on Sunday, April 30, 2023 in Brunswick Cove Nursing Center in Winnabow.

Sadie was born in Brunswick County, daughter of the late Newman Caison and Susie Phelps. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Avery Canady and a daughter, Tammy Canady.

Sadie is survived by a son Charles Small of Leland.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
