Ruth Jewell (Wyatt) Baldwin

Ruth Jewell Wyatt Baldwin, age 95 of Whiteville, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. 

Ruth was born was November 9, 1925, to the late Elisha Thomas Wyatt and Nettie Louvene Todd Wyatt and was the widow of James Carlyle Baldwin who preceded her in 1985.  She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Roy Carl Wyatt, Blanche Wyatt, Hazel Geneva Wyatt Sellers, Wake Forrest Wyatt, John Thomas Wyatt, Roby Hughes Wyatt, Ruby Wyatt Thomas and Homer Lyon Wyatt.

Final rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2020 at the New Life Community Church in Whiteville with Pastor Charles Cribb officiating.  Interment will follow in Whiteville Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the New Life Community Church on Saturday.

To cherish her memory, Ruth leaves behind four children; Rose Baldwin Goodman (Ray) of Whiteville, Kay Baldwin of Charlotte, James Edwin Baldwin of Whiteville, and Harry Dale Baldwin (Sheila) of Whiteville; a sister, Cedelle W. Brown of Whiteville; a granddaughter, Cailin Baldwin of Whiteville (her fiancée, Corey Cartrette); and her fur babies.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the New Life Community Church located at 107 S. Maultsby Street, Whiteville, NC 28472

The family will receive friends at other times, at Harry and Sheila's home: 7001 Red Hill Road, Whiteville, NC 28472.
