Rudolph “Rudy” Sherroll Cliff Obituary

Rudolph “Rudy” Cliff passed on 25th of May, his soul will continue living on through his family and friends.


Rudy was a caring and lovable man, throughout his lifetime devoted himself to his religion and the people around him. He was a devoted member of Evergreen Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon, Assistant Song Leader, Assistant Adult Choir Director, and Adult Sunday School Teacher; Rudy was born in Loris, South Carolina.


Rudy served in the US Army and he worked with the US Postal Service as a carrier.


He was predeceased by his mother, Lucille Cliff and his father, Rudolph "Adolf" Cliff Sr.


Surviving, Rudy has a sister Suzanne Cliff Allen; three children, Christy Cliff, Brain Cliff and Stephanie Oden (James); grandchildren, Jayden Mason, Jazmine Oden, Tyler Cliff, and Brianna Cliff; great granddaughter, Oaklynn Mason.


Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Worthington Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Ward Station Church of God Cemetery.


Visitation will be held from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the service on Thursday.  


Family and Friends are welcome to come back to the house after the service.
