Ronnie Ray Hall

Ronnie Ray Hall, age 73 of Whiteville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

Ronnie was born on September 29, 1948, to the late Ray Randolph and Viola Caldwell Hall.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 20th, 2021, in the Cypress Creek Original Free Will Baptist Church, with Rev. Jeff Barton officiating. Interment will follow in the Blackman Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Sunday.

Ronnie was a Co-owner of H & W Glass in Whiteville, for 38 years. He was a member of Cypress Creek Original Free Will Baptist Church; Ronnie was also an avid fisherman and a classic car collector. 

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jo Simmons Hall of the home; children, Tonia Cox (Kevin) of Charlotte, Lora Benton (Phillip) of Whiteville, Christopher “Chris” Ray Hall (Jill) of Winnabow; sister, Ruth Hall Smith (Mike) of Charlotte; grandchildren, Shaun Benton, Makenzie Simmons (Jesse), Gracyn Cox, Bree Hall, Ryan Cox, and Ty Hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Cypress Creek Original Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund.
