Ronald Walker Obituary

Ronald Walker, age 64 of Cerro Gordo passed suddenly on Sunday November 4, 2018 at his residence. He was the son of the late Jessie Blackwell Walker and Carr Walker. He was also preceded in death by four siblings, William Lee Walker, Minnie Pearl Walker Cribb, Peggy Faye Walker Williams, Richard Walker; He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Eric Scott Walker, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Melinda Strickland Walker of the home; three children, Amanda Walker (Kelly) of Cerro Gordo, Kimberly Walker and Eric Walker (Chassidy) both of the home; four siblings, Judy W. Boswell of Cerro Gordo, Christine W. Floyd of Cerro Gordo, Annie Lou Coleman of Tabor City and his twin brother, Donald Walker of Cerro Gordo; two grandchildren, Gage Walker and MaKaylyn Blackwell. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday November 8, 2018 at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Jeff Stocks officiating. Interment will follow in the Strickland family cemetery in Cerro Gordo. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
