Robert Earl “Bob” Johnson, Sr. 84, of Whiteville, died on May 12, 2025, at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Whiteville, NC.
Bob was born on October 2, 1940, son of the late Robert Craven Johnson and Ruby Jane Covert Johnson. He was also preceded in death by his two spouses, Hazel Hinson Johnson and Vivian White Lewis; siblings, Earl Lynch, Joyce Ruppel; children, Benjamin Johnson, Bobby Johnson, Brenda Johnson Griffin.
Bob was a graduate of NC State University.
Graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
