Ricky Lane Mitchell, 71, a native of Lake Waccamaw, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at home. 

Ricky was born on February 1, 1954, son of the late James Roosevelt Mitchell and Roberta Blanks Mitchell. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Blenda Dale Freeman Mitchell; siblings, Faye Mitchell and Snap Mitchell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 22025,at Freewill Holiness Church in Lake Waccamaw. Visitation will be from 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Ricky leaves behind his two sons, Robert Delane Mitchell and his wife, Christy Mitchell and Levell Mitchell; a daughter, Kaneesa Dutton; grandchildren, Robert Dakota Mitchell, Bailey Patrick, Peyton McPherson, Kiley Bordeaux, Kimber Sierra Mitchell, Serenity Mitchell; siblings, Jeffrey Mitchell (Pam), Terry Mitchell (Shevonda), Jerry Mitchell (Charlotte), Timmy Mitchell (Francis); sister-in-law, Charlene Mitchell.
