Rickie Lee Sullivan

Rickie Lee Sullivan, 65, of Cerro Gordo, died at sunrise on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023, while in the Lower Cape Fear Angel House in Whiteville.

Rickie was born on November 27, 1957, son of the late Arter Lee Sullivan, Jr. and Margie Lenora Sealey Sullivan. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Dickie Lee Sullivan.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Graves Cemetery in Cerro Gordo, with Pastor Jonathan Simmons and Pastor Neill Smith officiating.

Until his retirement, Rickie was the owner and operator of Styles by Rickie Salon in Whiteville. He attended the Cerro Gordo New Life Methodist Church and also Chadbourn United Methodist Church. 

Surviving family includes his brother,  Arter Lee “Junior” Sullivan, III of Cerro Gordo; sister, Lona Meria “Sissie” Sullivan Coe (William) of Cerro Gordo; niece, Amy Nicole Woodard of Whiteville, Ashleigh Marie Gatewood of Supply; nephews, Arter Lee Sullivan, IV of Evergreen, Justin Page Sullivan (Sheena) of Evergreen, Jamie Niel Gatewood of Cerro Gordo; six loving great nieces and nephews; special friend, Deborah Kay Horne McKeithan of Chadbourn.
