Rhonda Bee (Long) Blackmon

Rhonda Bee Long Blackmon, age 66 of Whiteville, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Whiteville, NC.

Rhonda Bee was born on June 28, 1955, in Columbus County, to the late Earvin Willard and Mala Dare Ward Long. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Dixie L. Reynolds and a grandchild, Hunter Blake Blackman.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Old Dock Methodist Church, with Rev. Ken Sides officiating. Interment will follow in the Blackman Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:45, prior to the service, at the church.

For over 30 years, Rhonda Bee was employed by Columbus County Schools, serving in the Cafeteria at Old Dock Elementary School.

Rhonda Bee leaves behind her husband, Michael Allen Blackman of the home; sons, John Allen Blackmon (Wendy) of Whiteville, Eric Matthew Blackman (Breianne) of Evergreen; siblings, Barry Long (Linda) of Allsbrooke, SC, Beverly Marlowe (Tommy) of Nakina, Gail White (Ronnie) of Nakina; grandchildren, Austin Blackmon, Emily Willis, Anna Blackman, Erica Blackman.
