Rev. Norman Lee Webb, 73, of the St. James Community in Lake Waccamaw, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 4, 2023, while in the Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville.
Norman was born on June 4, 1949 to the late John Riley Webb and Annie Dorsey Smith Webb. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Frank Smith, Mary Logan, Margie Waddell, Calvin Webb, Wiley Webb, Willie John Webb, Charles Webb, Margaret Smith, and Annie Mosley.
He honorably served his country in the Unites States Army and was employed at Federal Paper/IP for over 50 years, retiring in 2016.
Services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at St. James Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Curt Locklear officiating. Interment will follow in the St. James Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:45, prior to the service on Saturday, at the church.
Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Lillian Joyce Jacobs Webb, of the home; two children, Kim Lachelle Webb Archie of Bolton and Gail Luticia Webb Williams (Ernest) of Raleigh; brother, Lloyd “Dusty” Webb of Bolton; four grandchildren, Zachery Archie, Nicholas Archie, Leilani Barbosa, and Gavin Barbosa.
