Reberiano Abonza

Reberiano “Rebbie” Abonza, age 31 of Cerro Gordo, died on Monday, October 9, 2023, at Norton Women's & Children's Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Rebbie was born on January 25, 1992, son of Liborio Abonza Rios and Rosa Osorio Hernandez Abonza.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Reberiano Abonza.

Funeral mass will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Whiteville, with burial to follow in the Abonza Family Cemetery, Cerro Gordo; Father Fernando Melendez will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 16, 2023, at Worthington Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Surviving family includes his parents, Liborio and Rosa of the home; daughter, AriAnna Abonza of Cornelia, GA; fiancé, Mari Cruz of Cerro Gordo; siblings, Jeremy Abonza of Michigan, Cristal Abonza, Johanna Abonza, Adrianna Abonza, and Ivan Abonza, all of Cerro Gordo; maternal grandparents Vicenta Hernandez Carbajal and Tiburcio Osoria Urquiza; paternal grandmother Toribia Rios; nieces and nephew, Brittany Delaluz Abonza, Ismael Perdomo Abonza, and Divina Perdomo Abonza.
