Raymond Arthur Baylor

Raymond Arthur Baylor, age 71 of Tabor City and formerly of Chadbourn passed on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Tabor Commons in Tabor City.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Worthington Funeral Home. Dr. Tommy Bryson will officiate. 

He was the son of the late William Frank Baylor and Marjorie Elizabeth Prentice Baylor. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Terry Lynn West Baylor and a sister, Clarissa B. Spivey.

He honorably served his county in the United States Marine Corps.  Raymond was primarily employed in the lawn care service in Whiteville for many years.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two brothers, William “Bill” Baylor of Connecticut and Terry Lee Baylor of New Jersey; his sister, Peggy Ann Nobles of Whiteville;  niece, Holly Spivey Williamson and many more loving nieces and nephews.
