Obituary
Randy Wayne Carlson, age 67 of Wilmington, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at his residence.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday (March 31, 2023) at the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery in Chadbourn.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, prior to the service, at Worthington Funeral Home.
Randy was born on July 25, 1955, in Brookville, Indiana to the late Gordon Lester Carlson and Patricia June Phillips Carlson. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Gordon Lee Carlson.
He is survived by his fiancé, Shirley Marie Brown Strangstalien of the home and her children, Jessica S. Davis (Chad) of Wilmington and Jason Strangstalien (Katie) of Winona, Minnesota; a daughter, Kelly Patricia Carlson Harmon of Whiteville; a son, Tanner Lee Carlson (Amanda) of Rogersville, Missouri; three siblings, Michael (Mickey) Carlson (Sandy) of Tampa, Florida, Kevin Carlson of Brookville, Indiana and Amy Lynn Barbour of Kansas City, Missouri; step-mother, Myrna Carlson of Connersville, Indiana; grandchildren, Macelynn Paige Hines (Tyler), Logan Cole Harmon, Wyatt L. Carlson, Ian H. Carlson, and Oliver E. Carlson; great-grandchildren, Alaina Paige Hines, Hazlynn Taylor Hines and Justin David Hines.
