Rachel Janet (Perritte) Norris

Rachel Janet Perritte Norris, age 72 of the Cribbtown Community of Chadbourn, met her Lord and Saviour on Thursday morning, August 11, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Rachel was born on November 20, 1949, in Columbus County, daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Perritte and Ethel Cartrette Perritte. She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Franklin "Frankie" Perritte (Rita), Sherry Fowler, and Daphna Kay Drish.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 13th, 2022, at Worthington Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Clarendon Cemetery; Pastor Bobby Cartrette and Pastor Roger Coffey will officiate. 

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday evening, at the funeral home.

To cherish her memory, Rachel leaves behind her loving husband of 58 years, Charles Lee Norris of the home; daughters, Tammie Norris Coffey and husband, Roger, of Chadbourn, Lori Shelton and husband, Ricky, of Kernersville; grandchildren, Matthew Cole Cox (Lauren), Aaron Luke Cox (Maliyah), Wesley Shelton, Bailey Shelton; great-grandchild, Sarah Kate Cox; brother, Danny Perritte and wife, Lisa, of Tabor City.
