Pete Nobles, a loving father, husband, and brother has been reunited with his first daughter, Savanna, mother, Bobbie Jean, and father, Clyde Jr.

Pete spent most of his life in Fair Bluff, affectionately adorned “River Rat.” He was a larger-than-life character, even though he never meant to be. He worked hard, but he loved much harder.

He is survived by his wife – Kellie Nobles, his son- Capers Nobles, his two daughters -Zoey and Aurora Nobles, his three sisters – Billie Jean Nobles, Charlie Jordan, and Trish Stanley, stepmother - Mattie Nobles and too many other family members to list. Pete passed just the way he wanted to – peacefully in his sleep, in his bed, at his house with family.

Memorial services will be held June 14, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn, NC.
