Paula Louise (Williams) Cartrett

Paula Louise Williams Cartrett, age 60 of Chadbourn, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville.

Paula was born on April 19, 1961, in Columbus County, to the late Paul Jason and Hazel Hobbs Williams.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jeanette DeGraves.

Celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Worthington Funeral Home, with Rev. Randy Speight officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-3:45, prior to the service.

Survivors include her husband, Samuel “Sam” Eugene Cartrett of the home; daughter, Crystal C. Best of Whiteville; siblings, Becky Parr (Larry) of Tennessee, Gregg Williams of Vero Beach, FL and Carroll Ray Williams (Dee) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; grandson, Bronson Best of Whiteville and a great-grandson, Keegan Best of Whiteville; sister-in-law, Carla Naegele of Winter Springs, Florida; brother-in-law, Roy Michael Cartrett of Wilmington, and many loving nieces and nephews.
