Patricia Ann (Stone) Simmons

Patricia Ann Stone Simmons, age 69 of Whiteville, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2020 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, NC.  

Patricia was born on August 22, 1951 in Columbus County to the late Robert Elwood Stone and Estelle Goldie Blackwell Stone.  She was the widow of Roy Roger Simmons and was also preceded in death by her son, Roger Cale Simmons; three siblings, Earl Stone, Thelma Jacobs and Christine Evans.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the Hosea Simmons Cemetery with Dr. Tommy Bryson officiating.

Survivors include a daughter, Tiffany Simmons Long (Gregory) of Whiteville; a sister, Evelyn S. Cox of Tabor City; grandchildren, Kristi Michelle Long, Kayla Lea Baker, Morgan Nycole Simmons, Shyanne Brooke Simmons, Gregory Dylan Long (Allie) and Makenzie LaCole Long; great-grandchildren, Kingston Cale Simmons, Nisiah Issa Greenleaf, Cannon Cole Simmons Brayden Powell, Emiyah Greenleaf and one on the way, Kenlynn Batten; a special friend, Charlene Watts of Whiteville.
