"When you've done all you know to do, just stand...."

Pastor Daniel "Danny" Jeffers, 57, of Cerro Gordo, finished his earthly journey and entered into his heavenly home on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at MUSC in Charleston, SC. 

Danny was born on August 29, 1967. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Jeffers; mother, Shelby Cribb Nobles; step-father, J.C. Nobles.  

Funeral services commemorating Danny’s life and his service to the Lord, will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Worthington Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery; Pastors Charles Dudley, Mack Watts, and Daniel Perritte will officiate.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home.

Danny, as he was lovingly known, was a loving and God-fearing man. He was a faithful servant in the kingdom of God, having served as Pastor of Whiteville Free Will Baptist since 2007.

Danny leaves  behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Carol Hayes Jeffers of the home; three children, Derrick Jeffers (Caroline), Daniel Jeffers (Nikki), Ashley Jeffers (Justin); grandchildren, Brantley, Abel, Rebekah, Alexis, Ethan, Paisley, Aubrey, Carter, Mia; siblings, Tammy Jenrette (Mitchel), Elizabeth Powell, Ronnie Jeffers.
