Oneal Samuel Myers Obituary
Chadbourn - Mr. Oneal Samuel Myers, age 90 of Chadbourn died Monday, September 7, 2009 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Loretta West Myers and the daughter of the late Enoch Allen and Bertha Carter Myers. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Hilda Myers Bowen, Annie Belle Myers Burney, Omigene Myers Scott and Eunice Myers Floyd. Mr. Myers was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army. He retired from the US Postal Service in 1983 were he worked as a letter carrier in the Chadbourn Post Office . Final rites will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Elmore Strickland and Reverend Jerry F. Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. No service information has been added.
