Nancy Mitchell Campbell the daughter of the late Berley Gurnell Mitchell Campbell and Silas Chavis was born on March 31, 1941. She gained her wings on May 14, 2019 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Nancy was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and cousin to all. She touched so many, many lives. She leaves behind a land full of memories for her children to hold on until they met again. Nancy leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Junior Lee Campbell of the home; Priscilla [Kenny] Jacobs daughter of Lake Waccamaw, Marcus Spaulding son of Lake Waccamaw, Sherman Campbell son of Lake Waccamaw, Christopher Campbell [Evie] of Fayetteville, GA, Jennifer Campbell daughter of Lake Waccamaw, and Jacqueline Campbell-Batten [Greg] of Chadbourn; Grandchildren Flora Jacobs-Bonila, Bernard Jacobs, Paula Jacobs, Tonya Spaulding, Senca Spaulding, Justin Campbell, Briana Campbell, Jared Campbell, Blake Campbell, Jasmine Campbell, Dakota Campbell; four sisters Delsy Brewington, Patricia Andrews, Sandra Moore, Betty McKeithan; a brother John Monroe Campbell; Great grands nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and adopted children. Special friends Natalie Rickman Pastor Lucy Young and Pauline Freeman.. Final rites will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2019 at St. James Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Curt Locklear and Pastor Napoleon Webb officiating. Interment will follow in St. James Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is serving the family. Interment following funeral service: Sunday May 19, 2019 St. James Cemetery, Lake Waccamaw, N.C
