Mortie Onnette Bullard Smith, age 83 of Hallsboro, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Whiteville, NC.

Mortie was born on March 10, 1937, to the late William Quincey Bullard and Rena Cornelius Powers Bullard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Smith; children, William Lloyd Smith, Robert Lee Smith and Kathryn Sue Smith Britt; siblings, Floyd Powers, Jack Bullard, Lloyd Bullard

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2020 at the Robinson Cemetery in Kelly, NC. Rev. Ron Fields will officiate.

Mortie was a faithful member of Living Word Church in Chadbourn.

Survivors include her daughters: Sandra Smith Evans (Jimmy) of Hallsboro; Rena Smith Milligan (Mike) of Tabor City; Melissa Smith Ray (Chris) of Hallsboro; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
