Monty Kim Buffkin Sr., age 69 of Whiteville passed on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at his home.

Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Worthington Funeral Home.

He was the son of the late Harvey Lee Buffkin.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Fowler Buffkin of the home; a son, Monty Kim Buffkin, Jr. of the home; a daughter, Kimberly Michelle Buffkin (Joseph) of Whiteville; his mother, Reba Buffkin Rouanzion of Durham; two siblings, Brandon Buffkin (Helen) of Flat Rock and Deborah B. Underwood (Otis) Hillsborough; grandchildren, Adriana Buffkin, Alexis Buffkin, Denis Dewayne McClendon, Jr., and MyKela Pierce.
