Millie Dianne Simmons Ward, 80, of Whiteville, NC, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the Lower Cape Fear Angel House in Whiteville.
Millie was born on February 10, 1945, daughter of the late Wadis Milton Simmons and Doretha Inman Simmons. She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Joyce Simmons Ward and Judy Simmons Ward.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Columbus Memorial Park.
The family will speak to friends at the service.
The surviving family includes her daughter, Debra Renee Ward Inge of Clarendon; grandchildren, Colby Inge (Salena) of Clarkton, Caitye Shelley; great-grandson, Easton Inge; brothers, Ronnie Simmons (Mildred) of Eden, Rickey Simmons of Whiteville; sister, Janette Simmons Ward.
