Michael Calvin Strickland, age 27 of Cerro Gordo died Saturday, December 25, 2010. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Thomas Fairfax officiating. Interment will follow in the Srickland Cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Sherry Jeanette Perez of Whiteville; father, Dewayne Bo Albert Strickland of Cerro Gordo; brother, Jonas Allen Strickland of Whiteville; sister, Jennifer LeAnne Strickland of Whiteville; grandmothers, Margie Strickland of Cerro Gordo and Annie Walker Coleman of Tabor City; half sister; Danielle Marlowe of Cerro Gordo; half-brothers, Dwight Strickland of Cerro Gordo and Matthew Watts of High Point. The family will receive friends 7-9 pm Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
