Michael Floyd Coleman, 68, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. 

Michael was the son of the late William Floyd Coleman and Hazel Ruth Ellis. He was also preceded in death by a son, Eric Coleman.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Chadbourn Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Donald Conway and Pastor Darryl Hooker officiating. 

Visitation will take place prior to the service in the church from 2:00-2:45 p.m. 

To cherish his memory he leaves his wife, Sandra Dee Edwards Coleman of the home; three children, Jonathan M. Coleman (Misty) of Evergreen, Brandy Turbeville (Scott) of Chadbourn, and Michelle Coleman (Justin) of Boardman; siblings, Vickey Sealey of Chadbourn, Angela Coleman of Calabash, and Nancy Jung (Seung) of Calabash; grandchildren, CJ (Hailey), Maddox, Tristin, Layton, and Lakelyn; great-grandchildren, Winston and Beckham.
