Mrs. Mary Norma W. Williamson, age 90 of Chadbourn died Friday, February 27, 2009 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Macedonia Baptist Church with Reverend Vernon Williamson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She was the daughter of the late Bert K. and Mary Catherine Williamson and the widow of Alton Loys Williamson, Sr. She was also preceded in death by a son, Alton Buddy Williamson, Jr. She is survived by a son, Charles K. Williamson of Chadbourn; four daughters, Mary W. Strickland of Chadbourn, Betty Jean W. Strickland of Cerro Gordo, Geddie Carol W. Brisson of Elizabethtown, and Kay W. Ludlum of Bladenboro; three sisters, Jackie Bullard of Bladenboro, Lee Skinner of Decatur, GA, and Velma Coker of Decatur, GA; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Macedonia Baptist Church, Macedonia Church Road, Evergreen, NC 28438. No service information has been added.
