Mary Allean Mitchell Graham was born in the St. James Community on November 2, 1932; God chose to pick this rose Sunday, August 29, 2010 at home with her loved ones. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Elease Mitchell and beloved wife of Haynes Almond Graham. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday at St. James Baptist Church with Dr. Reverend Michael Cummings and Reverend Graylen Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the St. James Memorial Cemetery. She was preceded in death by six siblings, Luticia M. Jacobs, Leroy Mitchell, Sarah Spaulding, Isabell Branch, Everette Mitchell, and Alice Freeman. She is survived by one daughter and two sons: Josephine Graham Spaulding (Lynn) of Whiteville, NC; Leslie Graham of Plainfield, NJ; and Haynes Graham, Jr. (Meki) of Lake Waccamaw, NC; three sisters: Lila Spaulding of Lake Waccamaw, Laura Webb of Lake Waccamaw, and Ruby Campbell of South Port; two brothers: Joseph Mitchell and Lewis Mitchell of Lake Waccamaw; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
