Marvin Smith Obituary

Marvin Alvin Smith, age 69 of Whiteville passed on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at his residence. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Columbus Memorial Park in Whiteville with Reverend Danny Jeffers officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn He honorably served his county during the Vietnam War serving in the United States Army. He was the son of Margaret Crews Smith Barsh and the late Marvin A. Smith and was also preceded in death by a brother, Danny Smith. He is survived by a companion, Emily Watts Cartrette of Whiteville.
