Marie Nobles, age 79 formerly of Cerro Gordo and a resident of Liberty Commons in Whiteville died Thursday, March 04, 2010 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Thomas Fairfax officiating. She was the daughter of the Ira and Maude Coleman Nobles. She was preceded in death by a sister, Linnie Nobles and an uncle, Timmie Nobles. She is survived by an aunt, Carolyn Nobles of Chadbourn. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
