Margaret Thiery Fipps Obituary
Mrs. Margaret Mickie Lillian Thiery Fipps, age 75 of Chadbourn died Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center in Whiteville. She was a native of Brooklyn, NY and the daughter of the late Frank William and Anna Grauwickel Thiery. Final rites will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday at Chadbourn Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Richard Robinson and Reverend Jim Skinner officiating. Interment will follow in the Fipps Cemetery, Chadbourn. She is survived by her husband, Horace Alton Fipps of the home; a brother, Frank William Thiery, Jr. of Stokesdale; sisters, Erna Katherine Linde of West Chester, PA and Shirley C. Bauer of Queens, NY. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
